Tudor rose is a design taken from Jacobean Crewel embroidery. It started about 6 years ago as a block and finished in 1998 with added borders for the Quilters Guild Birthday Suitcase Travelling Exhibition called "Party Pieces".

Hand applique. Hand quilted.
