St. Cross.

The Wessex Quiltmakers were asked to make a small piece on the theme Winchester, Past, Present and Future for their 2000 exhibition at the Winchester Guildhall. I chose St Cross as an example of the past with the wonderful stone work, masonry and the jumble of different styles of building. I used mainly hand dyed cotton.

Machine pieced. Machine quilted.
